I like to live in Estes Park, I love the small community and the people in it. Our family likes to go camping in the summer months and swimming in the winter months. We have family that have lived here for 30+ years and I have made many friends here.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have 2 children and have been married 7 years.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am currently the Recreation Manager at the Estes Valley Rec and Park District. I love the variety of my position and I like to work with our local youth and teach them about sports and the lifelong concepts that go along with playing sports like teamwork.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I like to eat at Sweet Basilico, Ed’s Mexican Cantina, La Cocina De Mama and Notchtop.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I’ve lived in Glen Haven and worked in Estes Park since 2014.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Julie Bunton, she seems to know everyone!
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Game of Thrones, The Last of Us and we tend to watch a lot of Paw Patrol
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Never do things out of guilt, do things that make you happy.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Penelope’s- We would always come to Estes Park as a child and eat burgers here with my family
Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would love to have lunch with Serena Williams because she is so accomplished in her career and had to persevere and overcome great odds to be who she is today. I’d think she has amazing advice on self discipline, motivation and would be fun to talk to and get to know. ,
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I like how everyone within your circle and outside your circle, is willing to come together in times of need and have each other’s backs. The support of this close knit community is amazing.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I hope to keep growing as a leader and creating new and educational programs for our locals. I am also looking forward to watching my young kids grow and learn, make new friends and develop as individuals.
Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I love to play Ping Pong.
